How to Stop Dog Biting Problems
|

Dogs, often bite to play, and there are few times when they feel the necessity to attack. But hey, it is better to prevent than having to deal with a grown up dog with biting problems. To overlook to this problem can mean for us getting in problems in the future too! Here you will find some tips on puppy training biting.
Instructions
Step 1
Puppy training biting like any type of dog training needs some patience and consistency. The puppy won't stop biting in a matter of hours, you have to teach him and reinforce what you are teaching. This early stage of their life is perfect to let them know what is right and what is wrong.
Step 2
To start, you should make them notice that biting hurts you. A great tip is to imitate the sound a dog makes when something hurts him. Also, talk to them, even if they don't understand you, they will "get" the feeling of your communication.
Step 3
If you are playing with your puppy, you could also stand up and leave the puppy alone in the room. He will soon notice that after biting, he is left alone and with nobody to play with.
Step 4
You should also work on reinforcing good habits, so whenever the puppy shows playfulness by licking and not using the teeth you should praise him, scratch him behind the ears and show love.
